Starting BitTorrent Sync on boot with SystemD

This is useful if you want to setup BitTorrent Sync from the directly downloaded tar.gz file and set it up manually to start on boot as a regular user.  I have tested this on Arch Linux and all works great.  Obviously you don’t get the uninstall benefits of the Pacman / AUR approach .

First we need a btsync config file.  Generate one with:

and modify it to your needs.

Then we need a systemd service file.  I made one in (edit) /etc/systemd/system/btsync.service
